Renewable energy technologies include solar power, wind power, geothermal energy, biomass power and hydropower (hydroelectric, wave and tidal power). The market is growing for many forms of renewable energy, and the technical potential for the use of renewable energy technologies is very large.
This course encourages participants to explore the usefulness of various types of renewable energy sources and technologies as they relate to the future of our planet, further raising an awareness of the environment. At the end of this course you should be able to:
