As a leadership coach one of your jobs is to help those that you coach understand their needs, to define their own goals. With the right tools you can motivate, push and coach people towards achievement, success which serves the person you are coaching and the organization well.
Good coaching also requires good communications skills. When you know how to ask the right questions, put things into perspective and encourage others to find their own truths you are successful. By propelling others to identify and overcome their own obstacles – real and imagined – you will make a difference. At the end of this course you should be able to:
+ Define your own goals and explore the needs of those you coach.+ Understand the value of effective communications.+ Value diversity and different learning styles.+ Identify positive paths to future growth.+ Know how to overcome obstacles and facilitate improvement.
