This course identifies and describes ways in which you can actively seek opportunities in your organization. You will assess your organization and learn how to identify areas for improvement and to formulate initiatives that succeed. At the end of this course you should be able to:
+ Identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of your work unit.+ Identify opportunities for improving safety and processes in your work unit.+ Appraise the benefits and costs associated with safety and process improvement opportunities and initiatives.+ Create improvement initiative action plans and budgets for discussion and consideration.+ Understand your role in supervising selected project initiatives.
