As a leader, it is inevitable that you will encounter conflict in your team. Some conflict can serve to spark new ideas, but unresolved conflict is counterproductive and must be managed.
This course helps you examine your conflict resolution skills. The course discusses the different types of conflicts and ideas for managing them. You will also learn how your behavior impacts team members and how you can prevent many problems by being proactive. At the end of this course you should be able to:
+ Describe interpersonal conflict and typical causes in the workplace.+ Explain the conflict resolution process.+ Analyze typical conflict situations and develop plans for effective resolutions.+ List and describe behaviors that are supportive and non-supportive in interpersonal conflicts.+ Delineate guidelines for interacting with others to resolve conflicts.
