What is a competency-based system?
Competencies are the measurable and observable knowledge, skills, attitudes, and behaviors (KSABs) critical to successful job performance. Many organizations plan jobs and recruit employees based on the competencies and associated skill sets needed and that show people can do a job.
We identified 35 competencies associated with successful performance as a leader or individual contributor and based on further research segmented them by leadership level.
All our courses are aligned with our competency-based system. If you are taking one of our courses, you can be sure you will learn the skills you need to demonstrate competency.
Additionally, we work with organizations to bundle courses to meet specific requirements. We use our assessment tools to assist you in pinpointing areas of need. The competency framework is particularly helpful for curriculum development and helps serve as a roadmap for professional development initiatives.
“The secret of getting ahead is getting started. The secret of getting started is breaking your complex overwhelming tasks into small manageable tasks, and then starting on the first one.” - Mark Twain
